This collection was inspired by an article I discovered in Lucky Peach Magazine about a remarkable group of female Korean deep-sea divers. Known as 'haenyeo,' these women have long been revered as the heart of Jeju, where their role as providers and laborers is steeped in tradition. The richness of their story— woven with strength, respect, and resilience — infused the colors, textures, and warmth into these objects.
